Stand On One Leg is a podcast by doctor Michael Mosley about how to improve balance. It’s one in a series of radio programmes which are all about simple things that can greatly improve health and longevity.
By improving our balance we can directly improve our health. Importantly, with better balance we have better posture and are less likely to have falls. That also works in reverse; because of the brain effort required to balance, by practicing balancing exercises we can improve our brain functioning.
