OSTEOPATH
Marianne graduated from British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in 1989. Since 1996 she has combined osteopathic practice with education, holding various roles both at BCOM and Oxford Brookes University. Marianne has lectured and examined widely both in the UK and Europe for osteopaths and other healthcare practitioners.
Currently, Marianne divides her time between osteopathic practice at the Faringdon Clinic and London where she leads on Practice Based Education at BCOM. Marianne is an external examiner for College of Osteopaths Educational Trust (Staffordshire University).
Marianne’s special interests include the elderly, sports injuries and active management of chronic long-term pain patterns. Her master’s dissertation investigated effectiveness of treatment for chronic knee pain.
Outside work, Marianne enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She likes outdoor pursuits, especially open water swimming, running and walking but she also enjoys pilates, yoga and breathwork.
