OSTEOPATH
Lorna is a qualified Osteopath and registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOSC) having completed an honours degree at The College of Osteopaths.
Lorna began her studies to qualify as an Osteopath after her father suffered a stroke.
As well as osteopathic treatment, patients benefit from her holistic approach which incorporates lifestyle advice and rehabilitation. Helping diagnose and treat older patients is of particular interest to Lorna, and she encourages these patients to engage in their own recovery following treatment and go on to lead healthy fulfilling lives. Moreover, Lorna’s upbringing in a military family has given her a keen interest and understanding of serving and ex-serving personnel and the challenges these roles can have on the musculoskeletal system.
Lorna grew up in the countryside and has a strong passion for animals. In her spare time she enjoys walking her spaniels Mousa and Hilda and has a keen interest in horses. She is looking to complete further education in stroke medicine, neurology and animal Osteopathy.
