Personal Training
Personal Fitness Training programmes for the individual
or groups of 2 – 4 people. Sport-specific
packages available, including 'Pre-Ski' and 'Agility Ladders'.
Personal Fitness training includes a detailed
health and fitness appraisal and personal goal-setting. You also get
individual attention while training in a private exercise room at the
Clinic and a personal exercise and nutrition programme which takes into
account your exercise likes/dislikes and any specific health/fitness
concerns.
The programme will be specially designed for you,
to help you to accomplish your own particular goals safely and
effectively and to enjoy doing so. Programmes can be adapted for home
use if you prefer. Regular monitoring and reassessment are available.
Practitioner
Dr Caroline Harper
has a background in biological sciences and education. She is a
professional Personal Fitness Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist.
Qualifications include Sports Massage Therapy and
Injury Rehabilitation, Health Appraisal/Fitness Instruction, Sports
Nutrition and Circuit Training. She is also qualified in Special
Populations Exercise Management - for people with particular health
concerns, particularly pregnancy and post-natal, coronary heart disease
rehabilitation, overweight/underweight, osteoporosis and diabetes.
She is a qualified slimming coach, having trained
with Pete Cohen’s ‘Lighten Up’ programme,
and offers slimming workshops for groups, or one-to-one coaching
sessions.
Caroline combines a detailed knowledge of exercise and injury
rehabilitation principles and methods with a flexible and motivational
approach, which will address your personal health and fitness
requirements.
