Research has shown that yoga can slow down your heartrate, reduce anxiety and improve your mood. Breath is central to yoga.
Yoga teacher Lesley Muir has joined together with Marianne Damgaard Jenson, Osteopath of The Faringdon Clinic, to run workshops on how to use yoga to improve the quality of your breathing.
Each workshop consists of a short introduction to the anatomy and physiology of effective breathing and a longer practical yoga session.
Workshop 1 - Exploring Breath, Posture and Movement 2-5pm (arrivals from 1.45pm) held at The Faringdon Clinic
Workshop 2 – Learn How to Control Your Energy with Yoga 2-5pm (arrivals from 1.45pm) held at The Faringdon Clinic
Little or no previous experience of yoga is necessary. Yoga mats and supports will be provided. Spaces are limited to six per workshop.
The cost is £45 for each workshop.
