Homeopathy
Homeopathy derives from the Greek word homoios
meaning 'like', it works on a law of similars, so
the remedy used is that which is most like the patient’s
symptoms. For example, someone suffering from insomnia may be treated
using a caffeine remedy.
Homeopathy uses extremely diluted and energised
remedies made from minerals and plants to alleviate a wide range of acute
and chronic ailments. It aims to be gentle, thorough and very
effective.
Pregnancy
In pregnancy homoeopathy is used for morning
sickness, haemorrhoids, heartburn, depression and even birthing kits
are available for during the labour itself - everything to maintain a
happy, healthy mum and baby. Both emotional and physical ailments
following the birth can also be addressed.
Babies
Colic, teething problems, skin conditions
including eczema, distress after a difficult birth...
Childhood
All manner of childhood ailments may be helped by
homoeopathy from asthma and glue ear, to bedwetting and behavioural
problems. Children respond readily to homoeopathy and treatment can
alleviate the need for repeated doses of antibiotics.
Teenagers
Homoeopathy can directly address the specific
needs of teenagers going through difficult transitional stages of
development both physically and emotionally and with such issues as
fear of exams, eating disorders, irregular or difficult periods,
glandular fever and depression.
Adults
An adult working lifestyle can impose the most
demand upon us - overwork, stress, fatigue, irritability, headaches,
insomnia, IBS and high blood pressure - are just some of the ailments
treated by homoeopathy at this time.
Sports
All manner of sports injuries can be treated with
the minimum of fuss as well. Chronic and serious physical problems may
emerge in our midlife and prompt treatment can safeguard a happier and
healthier old age.
Menopause
During the menopause homoeopathy can treat both
physical and emotional problems swiftly and surely without any
unpleasant side effects or worrying implications for future health.
Old Age
The mental and emotional challenges of retirement
can also be treated with homoeopathy. For older patients, conditions as
varied as arthritis and loneliness can be addressed.

What to expect
An adult Homoeopathic consultation takes about an
hour and a half.
After careful consideration - I will send out a
remedy, in order to boost your own natural healing process.
A follow up appointment, of about 45mins (for
adults), is usually in a month’s time - to assess the action
of the remedy, how you are getting on and what further treatment is
necessary.
